The Goonies: The Game

An optional project that I decided to push it further. The task was to re-design ‘The Goonies’ movie either for a game or film. The Goonies: The Game is an action adventure fantasy game where the main characters go on a quest to explore hidden treasure on a unique washed up ship while encountering problematic traps. This project was inspired by Borderlands unique wackiness, I wanted to push the whimsical vibe of this project by incorporating organic elements within hard surfaces. It also gave me an excuse to use deep sea critters in my project ! The title was supposed to be a place holder but my mentor found it funny since most of my designs are unhinged and so I went with it. Thank you David for encouraging my wackiness in my projects, it’s really pushed me to be a better artist and come out of my shell….. crab shell more like it
